Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia – How to Access DLC

If you picked up the Season Pass for Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia, then you might be wondering how you access the DLC in-game. In previous games players would unlock additional areas on the map, which would then allow them to access their DLC. Fire Emblem Echoes DLC does away with this access mode, though, and in this article we’ll teach you everything you need to know to access the Fire Emblem Echoes DLC and get started.

How to Access DLC

Accessing DLC in Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia is a very easy process, though it is kind of out of sight when you first begin the game. Don’t worry, though, as everything is about to become very clear.

First, in order to access the DLC area, you must make it out onto the World Map. Once on the World Map, press X anywhere on the map and locate the Connect option in the list.

Select Connect, and then look for the Manage DLC option. Highlight it and select it to continue.

Once you choose Manage DLC, you’ll be taken to another window, where you have two options—PLAY DLC and PURCHASE DLC.

If you haven’t purchased the Season Pass yet, or just want to pick up an individual DLC, then select PURCHASE DLC to be taken to a full list of all of the DLC currently available for Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia.

If you want to play your DLC, though, and you’ve already purchased it, select the PLAY DLC option. The system will check for downloadable content, and then give you full list of all the DLC that you currently have installed and available to play. Highlight the DLC that you want to launch, and then press A and then select YES when it asks if you want to load the content.
