Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions Job Guide

Recommended Videos

Thanks to things like mobile platform sales, new game rumors, and Brave Exvius bringing the genre back into our hearts and minds, Final Fantasy Tactics is swirling around the gamersphere this week. And I’m one of those dorks riding on the War of the Visions train, and Japanese tactics RPGs are one of my lowkey favorites (even though I’m no good at them).

So hey, why not make some of that sweet, sweet Final Fantasy Tactics content? We see you searching for job guides out there folks; so here’s exactly that.

All Jobs and Requirements

As you may know, there are two versions of this early Ivalice adventure. There’s the original PlayStation classic, and the updated PSP version, Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions. The latter was also released on iOS and Android, making it the ideal version to play if you don’t mind touch screens. The interesting thing about this version split, besides the visual updates, is that some of the job titles and requirements are different. So in this guide, we’ll be splitting that up into two lists for easy reading.

Throughout the game in either version, there are several more Jobs you’ll encounter in various circumstances. Characters that join you during the story tend to have unique Jobs instead of Squire, and some guest characters and enemies will also have Jobs unavailable to the player. But as far as what you can build yourself, these are your options. Note that the general rules of thumb is if you’re playing War of the Lions, the requirements are a little steeper.
