Final Fantasy XIV works on a weekly cycle when it comes to events, quests, and collectibles for current content. This is pretty standard for an MMORPG, but it can get tough to keep track of all the various in-game things that tick down over any given 7-day period, especially with the Moonfire Faire itself ending in a week. FFXIV Weekly Reset Guide — Weekly Reset Times and Events

If you’re playing on a North American data centre, then the weekly reset is going to hit for you at 1:00 am on 13 August (PST). If you’re playing on an EU data centre, then the weekly reset is going to hit for you at 9:00 am on 13 August (GMT). Here’s a list of the in-game things that are affected by the weekly reset!

• Weekly repeatable quests
• PvP weekly performance
• Any challenges in your Challenge Log
• Wondrous Tails — this means you can pick up a new journal
• Zhloe Aliapoh’s deliveries
• Doman Enclave Reconstruction Donations
• Adventurer Squadron Priority missions
• Eden loot availability

The FFXIV weekly reset isn’t the only thing that ticks over in Eorzea. There are also daily resets in the game, and these have their own in-game tasks and occurrences that are reset. If you’re playing on a North American data centre, then the daily reset is going to hit for you at 8:00 am on 13 August (PST). If you’re playing on an EU data centre, then the weekly reset is going to hit for you at 4:00 pm on 13 August (GMT). Here’s a list of the in-game things that will be affected by the daily reset!

• Beast tribe quest logs
• Duty Roulette bonuses
• Daily quests
• Adventurer Squadron training allowances
• Frontline Duty availability

Now that you know when the FFXIV weekly reset is happening, you’ll be able to go ahead and grind out your tomestones of choice to your heart’s content before the reset.
