Season 7 will begin on March 1, 2021, at 1 pm PST. Starting off with your end-of-season rewards for Season 6, if you placed rank 19 or higher you’ll earn an Elite Fast TM

  • The Great League will run from March 1 to March 15
  • The Ultra League and its Premier Cup will run from March 15 to March 29.
  • The Master League, Master League Classic, and The Great League will run from March 29 to April 5.
  • The Great League and a new cup called Great League Remix will run from Monday, April 12 to April 26.
  • The Ultra League and its Premier Cup will run from April 26 to May 10
  • The Master League, Master League Classic, and the Retro Cup will run from May 10 to May 17.
  • All three leagues will run from May 17 to May 24
  • Ranked Play will end on May 24
  • An Unranked Kanto Cup will run from May 24 to May 31.

Season seven will have the same ranked structure as the previous season.

Here are the changes to Season 7

Reaching rank 10 will award players with the Pikachu Libre avatar items. If you reach the legend rank you’ll earn an avatar item and pose inspired by Elesa. Rank 19 will reward players with an Elite Charged TM and an Elite Fast TM.

  • If you reach rank 20 you are guaranteed to encounter the Legendary pokemon that is appearing in the five-star raids at that time.
  • Rank 1: You’ll be guaranteed to encounter Zebstrika, one of Elesa’s partner Pokémon in the Pokémon RPGs.
  • Rank 1 and up: You’ll be able to encounter Pokémon such as Poliwhirl, Flaaffy, Pupitar, Galvantula, and more.
  • Rank 10 and up: You’ll be able to encounter Pokémon such as Medicham, Frillish, Stunfisk, and more.
  • Rank 15 and up: You’ll be able to encounter Pokémon such as Scraggy, Lampent, and Rufflet. Don’t forget—if you’re lucky, you might encounter a Shiny Rufflet!
  • If you reach Ace rank or higher you will encounter a Deino.
