Elden Ring: How to Start New Game Plus

Elden Ring is known for being a long and challenging game, but for many players, the first time through is just a warm-up. New Game Plus is where Elden Ring will really take off for them. If you want to know how New Game Plus works and how to start it, then this is the guide for you.

How to start New Game Plus in Elden Ring

There are two ways to start New Game Plus, although you must first finish a playthrough. This means achieving any of Elden Ring’s four possible endings. When the final scene players out, players will get the option to “begin Journey 2” or go back to their current playthrough with the world in the state they left it. This will allow them to finish up any outstanding quests or missions.

Players who opt to do this can teleport to Roundtable Hold later any time they like and interact with it, then select the “Begin Journey 2” option to start their New Game Plus experience.

Do you keep your weapons and level in New Game Plus?

Yes. All weapons, stats, spells, items, and resources will carry over from the first playthrough of Elden Ring to your New Game Plus. Enemies will become more challenging, taking and doing more damage. In some Soulsborne games, new enemies would appear in different places, but we cannot confirm if this happens in Elden Ring yet.
