No Surprise Who Tops EA’s Top 10 Cornerbacks List for Madden NFL 24

It’s another list of 10 of the best selected by EA for Madden NFL 24. The ratings are out, and the scramble to see who got that exclusive 99 rating is on. With this list, we celebrate those who need to shut it down, shut it down, and shut it down some more. Here are EA’s Top 10 Cornerbacks for Madden NFL 24.

It’s the all-important Cornerbacks position, another one where speed matters. But not only is speed crucial, but a CB’s agility, strength, awareness, and catching rate also need to stand out above all else. They are tasked with the job of shutting down Wide Receives and reading the play with their backs facing the Quarterback most of the time. 

Here are EA’s 10 best Cornerbacks in the game today who excel and lead the NFL in the abovementioned areas.

Closing the list at number 10 is the six-year Brown player, Denzel Ward, who, despite sitting in last place with an 88 overall rating, is the running man with the fastest speed (94) and quickest acceleration (95) of all the Cornerbacks.

This could prove that there are some undercover gems you could find in the CB department. Not a lot separates first place from 10th place, so there could be plenty of options to choose from out there.

At the top end of the list, we have the 97-rated Miami Dolphins’ CB, Jalen Ramsey. It’s no surprise that Ramsey is the launch day leader, posting his career best in 2022 with 88 tackles on the snap. That’s back-to-back seasons in the NFL in which he has amassed 77-plus tackles. Simply beast mode!
