With the pre-orders live, EA has also given us a look at the technical side of the new release with the official EA Sports FC 26 system requirements. Here is everything you need to know.

The requirements are identical to last year’s release, which means that while you might see some improvements here and there, you shouldn’t expect a vastly different technical experience. This makes a lot of sense since this new entry is still a cross-generation title and EA doesn’t want to miss out on the massive player base on PS4 and Xbox One, just yet.

So, for what I assume is a 1080p 60 FPS experience on high settings, you’ll need a GTX 1660 paired with a Ryzen 7 2700X. Both of these components are fairly old at this point, and even on the lower end, an RX 570 is more than enough for a playable experience.

You need 100 GB of free space to install the game, and only 12 GB of RAM is recommended. There is no mention of an SSD here, though I highly recommend installing the game on it either way.

EA Sports FC 26 Release Date

EA Sports FC 26 is coming to PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S|X, PS4, PS5, and Nintendo Switch on September 26, 2025.

Just like EA FC 25, EA FC 26 appears to be a scalable experience on PC and should run well on a variety of hardware. There’s no jump in system requirements from the last game, and I’m hoping the optimization remains solid as always.
