EA FC 24 is currently down with server maintenance, and this one seems to be for an extended period. The latest maintenance comes ahead of the TOTS promo, which is arguably the best time to play Ultimate Team. However, players will have to be patient as the servers are unavailable as of writing.
When Will the EA FC 24 Scheduled Maintenance (April 17) End?
Today’s maintenance has commenced at 6 AM UTC, and the servers are already down as of writing. Thankfully, EA Sports has also announced the end time of the maintenance, which is scheduled for 10 AM UTC. Unless there are further delays, the maintenance is expected to last for 2 hours and 30 minutes more (as of writing).
That said, maintenance can be extended without prior notice, and there have been such incidents in the past. Hence, it’s best for players to start the game only after it’s past 10 AM UTC.
EA FC 24 Scheduled Maintenance (April 17): All Affected Modes
Any game mode that utilizes online matchmaking will be out of order as long as the maintenance is live. This includes modes like Ultimate Team, and even Squad Battles will be out of order. Even if players manage to load the mode, they will get an error when trying to start a match.
The same outcome will happen in online friendlies and FC Club sessions across all affected platforms. In the meantime, players could try to enjoy offline-based content like Career Mode. The Career Mode allows players to select a club of their liking and take them to new glory as a manager and/or a footballer.
Similarly, all local friendlies can also be played between players and their friends. Since the matches take place on the same system, there’s no reliance on internet connectivity for such contests. For the time being, players will have to hope that there won’t be any delay, and that today’s scheduled maintenance will end on time.
