Dune Awakening Pricing, Pre-Order Bonus and Release Date Revealed

Funcom has finally revealed the official release date of Dune: Awakening, the open-world multiplayer survival game set on the desert planet of Arrakis. Funcom has promised a vast sandbox where players will duke it out and survive by learning the ways of the Fremen.

The title will be available to pre-purchase on Steam soon, and here is everything you need to know about its pre-order details, pricing, and additional bonus content you can earn in Dune: Awakening before you start your adventure in May 2025.

Dune Awakening Pricing

Dune: Awakening will be priced at $49.99/€49.99 at launch on PC. The PS5 and Xbox Series S|X console versions will arrive at a later date. The announcement does confirm that there will be some form of regional pricing too.

Dune Awakening Pre-Order Bonus

Players who pre-order Dune: Awakening will receive the Terrarium of Muad’Dib. This is a detailed in-base decoration that houses the adorable desert mouse.

Dune Awakening Creator & Benchmark Mode

A character creator and Benchmark tool is now available for Dune: Awakening on Steam. It’s around 17 GB in size.

The benchmark tool gives players a chance to try out the game on their system to see how well it will perform at release. It’s a fly-through sequence that takes players from their base in the desert to Harko Village, to the Harkonnen player hub, finally concluding with a close encounter with a colossal sandworm.

Players who download and play this tool will receive a redeemable code for the exclusive Frameblade knife skin.

Players can create their character now and import it to the full release in May 2025.
