With the release of Dragon Ball FighterZ players will soon find that there’s a lot you can purchase with Zeni (in-game money). You can pick up everything from new heroes to title cards and more, if you have enough Zeni. This article covers how to earn money fast in Dragon Ball FighterZ so you can quickly start collecting all the goodies the game has to offer. In addition to how to quickly earn Zeni in Dragon Ball FighterZ, we’ll also cover how to earn Zeni in general so you can pick and choose how you want to spend your time with the game.
How to Earn Zeni Fast
The fastest way to earn Zeni is to run through the Snake Way Course in the Arcade mode. If you’re a halfway decent player you’ll only have to go through three matches to complete it. If you beat it with an S rank earn 7,000 Zeni. Beat it with an A rank and you’ll earn 5,000 Zeni. As the easiest course, most players should be able to clear it with an S or A rank, at the very least each additional time you run through it you’ll earn another 3,000 to 7,000 Zeni depending on how well you do. If you can clear it in three matches, that’s only about 10 minutes to earn all that Zeni.
You can also play through the Combo Challenge in the Practice area. Each challenge you complete earns you 500 Zeni, netting a total of 5,000 Zeni per challenge completed. Even if you’re an average player, the first few challenges for each character are running through auto combos and other basics, making them very easy to complete. It’s a fast source of Zeni for your first run through and should give you a nice change of pace from running through the Arcade mode repeatedly.
Other Zeni Options
Of course, there are many other ways to earn Zeni in the game. The biggest source of Zeni is the Story mode. While the amount of Zeni you earn will vary depending on how many fights you went through, but should net at least 200,000 Zeni for a full Story mode run. If you equip all Zeni-boosting abilities you come across, and don’t skip any fights, you can easily clear 300,000 Zeni for a full Story mode run.
Another easy way to earn Zeni is by completing the daily quests. Most will give you at least 2,000 Zeni and they’re usually not that difficult to complete, especially the first set of quests that just has you trying out every mode of play. Even if you just want to hang out in the training area, you’ll earn 1,000 Zeni for every few hours you spend in Training mode.
Local and online matches will also give you Zeni for each completed match, but you’ll only get 300 for local matches. While you can setup a second controller and blast through local matches to earn Zeni, it’s not anywhere near as efficient as just playing through the easiest Arcade mode course.
With all the Zeni you’ll be hording you should be able to unlock SSB Goku and Vegeta pretty quickly. You’ll find more helpful articles in our Dragon Ball FighterZ game hub!
