Dota 2 Quartero’s Curios Explained – Get A Chance for Free Arcanas

Dota 2 released an event called Quartero’s Curios, which gives amazing and free cosmetics, with a chance of getting rares like Arcana and Immortal items in the past.

There are also some new sets for Legion Commander, Witch Doctor, and Vengeful Spirit, and here’s how to get them all in Dota 2.

All Quartero’s Curios Rewards and Mechanics in Dota 2

While this might not be the Battle Pass everyone was waiting for, it is still a free content update that gives players a chance at sweet cosmetics like Immortals and Arcanas, along with three new sets.

Quartero’s Curios mechanics are simple. Play games and earn levels to unlock free rewards. Reaching specific levels gives you a reward. But what is the fastest way to level it up?

Ranked and unranked matches give you 650 XP on wins and 250 XP on losses. Turbo matches also give you XP, but give way less since these games are faster. Turbo match wins give 425 XP and 175 XP on losses.

So, what are the levels for? Well, not every level gives you a reward, but almost every level from 1 to 30 does. Most of the levels give a piece of the whole set for the three new sets: Witch Doctor’s Papa Wanga, Legion Commander’s Drakon’s Deed, and Vengeful Spirit’s Maledictions of Morrigan.

Here are the level rewards for each cosmetic set.

Witch Doctor’s Papa Wanga Set

• Level 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10

Legion Commander’s Drakon’s Deed Set

• Tier 1 – Level 20, 22, 24, 26, 28, and 30
• Tier 2 – Level 34, 46, 58, 70, 82, and 100

Vengeful Spirit’s Maledictions of Morrigan Set

• Level 12, 14, 16, and 18

There are also event rewards that mostly give new visual effects for items. Here are the FX rewards and their corresponding level rewards:

• Level 7 – Level Up FX

And last but not least, the Antique rewards. Most players will be getting 1 out of 100 previously released hero sets for every Antique reward, but there’s also a tiny chance to get an Immortal or Arcana item. Here are the Antique level reward tiers:

• Level 5, 20, 40, 60, 80, and 100.

While Quartero’s Curios sounds exciting for Dota 2 players, most are still anticipating the next battle pass. Perhaps this is all a ruse, and the battle pass will be revealed as a surprise a month later.
