Here is everything you need to know about the cross-platform play and netcode capabilities of Invincible VS.

Does Invincible VS Have Crossplay Support?

Invincible VS supports crossplay between all platforms. So whether you are playing on PC, Xbox Series S X, or PlayStation 5, you will be able to play with other players and friends on different platforms.

This has been officially confirmed by the developers, including the lead combat designer, Reepal “Rip” Parbhoo, while talking to IGN. There isn’t an FAQ on the site, but both Steam and the Xbox store pages have the cross-platform tag put up by the developers.

Rest assured, Invincible VS isn’t a game from the early 2010s, and you’ll be able to play with your friends across different systems without a hitch.

Does Invincible VS Have Rollback Netcode?

Yes, Invincible VS also has support for rollback netcode, which is the current standard for online competitive play in fighting games.

Street Fighter 6, Mortal Kombat 1, Tekken 8, Guilty Gear Strive, all have rollback netcode, which makes competitive play much smoother.

Invincible VS Release Date

Invincible VS is coming to PC, Xbox Series S|X, and the PS5 on April 30, 2026. You can pre-order it now across all platforms. Check out the release date trailer below featuring a brand new original character for the title, Ella Mental.

Most modern fighting games launch with both crossplay and rollback netcode support, and those that didn’t were quickly dismissed for being outdated. Thankfully, the team behind Invincible VS has plenty of experience in the genre. The core team has previously worked on the excellent Killer Instinct reboot from 2013, and they’re well aware of the current player expectations.

I hope that the developers continue giving players more opportunities to try out the game themselves, especially PC players who didn’t have access to the last beta.
