EA Sports FC 25 is the latest sports title in the iconic football series from Electronic Arts. The new entry is coming to multiple platforms, both current and last-generation. Like previous entries, Electronic Arts have made it quite easy for players to enjoy the game together thanks to crossplay support within the same generation. However, does EA Sports FC 25 have cross-progression support as well? Here is everything you need to know.

Does EA Sports FC 25 Support Cross-Progression?

No, EA Sports FC 25 does not have cross-progression support. You can only share data between the same console family like PS4 to PS5, but not with any other platform.

This is the same case as their last major entry, and we likely won’t see cross-progression added to the game down the line either. Even though this is an excellent feature that would allow players to switch between platforms and pick up their progress, it’s usually implemented more often in free-to-play releases.

However, if you are playing in the same console family, then it’s not all bad, and the limited cross-progression support is available.

EA Sports FC 25 Release Date

EA Sports FC 25 is coming to PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and the EA App, Xbox One, Xbox Series S|X, PS4, and PS5 on September 27, 2024. If you pre-order the Ultimate Edition, you’ll be able to play the game 7 days early, on September 20, 2024.

We hope that Electronic Arts considers adding this feature in their upcoming EA Sports FC entries. Some of EA’s biggest titles, like Apex Legends, already have cross-progression support thanks to the EA account, which EA Sports FC 25 also requires.

Even though cross-progression isn’t coming to EA Sports FC 25, it does have crossplay support, with a few caveats. For more on EA Sports FC 25, head over to our dedicated section.
