Find the Black Market

After the events that took place during A Long Day in Dunwall, Captain Foster will drop you off a little bit away from Karnaca Docks. She can’t quite get you all the way to the docks, as a Watchtower will attack any ‘strange’ vessels, so this will have to do for now. Once on the coast, head along the shoreline to the wharf. If you climb up through the buildings above it, you will find a small yard that can only be reached by climbing through a window two levels above the wharf. In this yard you will find an NPC, Mindy, who will task you with finding a corpse and bringing it back to her.

Agree to help her and then unlock the nearby gate to give you easy access to the yard in your future travels. Before we help out Mindy, though, make sure to take a trip to the Black Market, which can be found inside the building above the wharf. The building that you need to enter is marked with the two-hand symbol that Captain Foster mentioned previously.

Help Mindy

After you visit the Black Market, continue your mission by heading down the path above the wharf. This is the best place to move, as it keeps you out of the sight of any Guards or enemies who might be patrolling the area. You should spot a Wall of Light ahead of you. This defensive structure is something that Dishonored fans should be used to dealing with, and it will kill you if you enter it without proper access. To avoid it, use the apartments nearby to make it beyond the Wall of Light. To find the apartments look for a large building with two signs on it. One sign says ‘SEIZED’ in very big letters. The other says ‘Condemned due to infestation’.

Crouch and head inside the house to find yourself in a Bloodfly den. Luckily Bloodflies don’t count against your Chaos rating, so feel free to swat them with your sword anytime you need to. This area is pretty straightforward. Simply move through it until you reach the second floor, and make sure to take out any nests that you come across, as this will stop Bloodflies from spawning around you.

The third floor is your goal in this building, so make your way up there and then look for a staircase on the opposite side of where you came from. This will lead you down a level, where you can break open a door and move out onto a balcony. This will also put you in Canal Square, which is the area that was blocked off by the Wall of Light.

Ignore the street below, as it is stuffed with enemies like Guards and Overseers. Instead, make your way across the left balcony and use Far Reach to access another balcony across the street. Head inside the building here, and sneak your way into the open room to find an Overseer that you can knock out and hide. After the Overseer is down, and the room is looted, use Far Reach to climb to the third-floor balconies and get inside. There is another Overseer here, but you can easily knock him out too. There are additional Overseers in the room to your right, though, so be careful and quiet.

Use Far Reach to sneak across the hallway undetected, and then reach the Notes and Books nearby to gain access to a nearby safe. This will grand you a Rune, which will be very useful for upgrading your character’s abilities.

Locate the nearby stairs, and head up them one level to find two Overseers. Knock out the patrolling Overseer first, by ambushing him away from his pal. Then, head into the small room and take out the other Overseer. Loot him to get a key that will unlock the interrogation room next door. Inside you will find the body that Mindy tasked you with finding. Pick it up and carry it outside via an open window.

Use Far Reach to move to the right, then wait for the patrolling Guards below to move out of the way and then use Far Reach to make your way down and away from the building where you grabbed the body. Follow your waypoint marker to the next area of the city, and immediately take the first right to find Mindy in a basement. Completing Mindy’s quest will reward you with some items, and her people will cut power to the carriage station above, which makes the next part of the mission a lot easier.

Get to Addermire Station

Make your way back through the area to the Overseer’s interrogation room. However, don’t go inside. Instead, use Far Reach to jump from the balcony of the building to the area below. This will allow you to knock out a patrolling Guard below, who you will the need to hide. With the Guard down, head forward into a civilian area ahead. Use Far Reach to climb onto the upper walkways, where you will find the carriage rails that Mindy deactivated. If you didn’t complete her quest, these rails will still be active and unusable.

Head past your objective marker on the screen, but be quiet, as two Guards patrol this area. Use your Far Reach ability to jump up to the main platform and climb into the carriage to complete this mission.
