Destiny 2: Shadowkeep fans will be well-acquainted with the Dawning, which is an event that happens every year to celebrate Christmas as Guardians know it. While it rolls around every December, and it came faithfully last year, here's what we know about the Destiny 2 Dawning 2019 event.
Destiny 2 Dawning 2019 Guide - When Does It Start?
If you were celebrating The Dawning last year, you might remember that it kicked off on December 11 and ran until the first day of the new year. This year, we've been informed by Bungie that the Destiny 2 Dawning 2019 festivities will commence from December 10.
In terms of what Guardians can expect to look forward to, we're gonna be talking new milestones, quests, and triumphs for certain. While we don't have a confirmation on the engrams that will be able to be earned this year, it's definitely a no-brainer at this point that there's going to be Christmas-themed glamors, items, weapons and armor for you to kit yourself out in.
Last year, Eva Levante was the chosen Dawning vendor, and we wouldn't find it absolutely out of the ordinary if this was repeated. However, what with Shadowkeep the way it is, maybe we're going to have someone else play Mrs Claus this year on the Moon, perhaps? We'll keep an eye on any announcements relating to this year's Dawning and make sure that we update you when we know more. However, we do still expect it to end when the New Year rolls around, which will give players a good three works to ensure that they're adequately exposed to any holiday cheer and to pick up the relevant rewards.
Now that you're aware of when the Destiny 2 Dawning 2019 event starts, it should be a little easier for you to manage your gaming schedules these holidays, especially if you're cracking into more than one big MMO at a time.
