If you’re diving into the new content added with The Dawning in Destiny 2, then you’re probably busy grinding to get the items that you need to complete your daily Gift Schematics. These little quests offer some nice rewards for those willing to undertake them, but you’ll need to put in the work if you want to walk away with the prizes. To help you out, we’ll show you where to farm Acolytes in Destiny 2, which will make completing the objectives in your Gift Schematics much easier.
Best Place to Farm Acolytes
Farming Acolytes is one of the easier tasks you’ll have to complete in Destiny 2’s The Dawning, but we’ll show you the best place to look for them. By far the best place to look for Acolytes is over on Titan. The planet has a high concentration of Hive, so you’ll usually find them around the area a good bit. If you really want to push things to a new level, though, and knock this objective out quickly, make your way down to the landing zone on The Rig.
Once you load in, you’ll want to head to the top of the area, where you should find a catwalk that you can jump off the side of the rig onto. Land on the catwalk and follow it around to reach the areas underneath the surface. This will lead you to Cargo Bay 3, a Lost Sector.
The main boss of this Lost Sector is a massive Ogre. He can be a little tough if you aren’t well prepared, so make sure you bring your strongest weapons and then turn it to toast. The good news about this Lost Sector is that it has around 30 or so Acolytes for you to kill, allowing you to easily rack up the kills needed to complete your objective. Once that’s done, simply leave and come back to get the remaining kills that you need.
You can also use the Witches Ritual public event to farm for Acolytes, but since that’s a timed/random event, that may be trickier. It’s not nearly as efficient as farming using the Cargo Bay 3 Lost Sector, though.
