The Dark Pictures: Man of Medan Game Length Guide

by Nicholas Barth

The Dark Pictures: Man of Medan is the first entry in Supermassive Games’ The Dark Pictures Anthology series. Man of Medan focuses on a group of five individuals who find themselves fighting to survive on what looks to be a haunted ship. With Man of Medan heavily focusing on its storytelling, players have been curious about the game length of Supermassive Games’ latest horror title. If you are curious about the game length of Man of Medan, you’ll want to read up on how it will likely take you to conclude the terrifying story.

A playthrough of the game will likely see players experience a game length of four to six hours depending on how much exploring you partake in. However, the somewhat short length is amplified by the fact that every single character in the title can live or die. This wide range of mortality outcomes for all of the characters means there are several different ends to the horror title.

With this in mind, the actual length can be expanded upon much more with players having the option to go back and experience completely different situations throughout each of their playthroughs. Players could quickly multiply their total time spent playing following their very differing runs through the title.

However, as mentioned before, each of these various playthroughs of Man of Medan will have players experiencing a game length in the four to the six-hour range.

What are your thoughts about the typical game length a player will experience when they dive into the horror-filled world of Man of Medan? How have your adventures in the terrifying title gone so far? Let us know over on Twitter at @primagames!
