These make more sense.

IO Interactive previously shared the official system requirements for 007 First Light, which had a few problems, to say the least. From listing 32 GB of RAM to including hardware components that did not line up, it caused unnecessary confusion.

To address this, IOI has now published the corrected and updated system requirements for the upcoming 007 First Light.

These make a lot more sense, especially coming from their last title, Hitman 3. If you’re looking to play the title at 1080p with a 60 FPS target, you’ll need an RTX 3060 Ti paired with a Ryzen 5 7600. 16 GB of RAM is recommended, no matter what settings you’re playing at, and I expect an SSD to be required as well.

On the lower side, if you’re targeting 30 FPS (assuming with lower settings), you’ll be able to play 007 First Light on a GTX 1660 as well. Additionally, you require 80 GB of free space to install the title on PC, which is in line with the storage requirements of most modern AAA releases. You can read more on the correct specifications on Steam.

NVIDIA has confirmed that 007 First Light will feature DLSS 4 as well as DLSS Multi-Frame Generation.

007 First Light Release Date

007 First Light is coming to PC, Xbox Series S|X, and the PS5 on May 27, 2026.

The updated system requirements seem quite reasonable, and I’m glad that IO Interactive is still sticking with their proprietary engine, Glacier, for this project as well. The modern Hitman trilogy is extremely performant and scales really well across a wide range of PCs and consoles. I hope that optimization remains a key focus for 007 First Light.
