Can You Have Multiple Save Files in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora? – Answered

Can you save your game or start a new game?

Even with a massive open world that will take tens of hours to explore, sometimes it’s just nice to start a new game and enjoy the early gameplay mechanics. Can you have multiple save files in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora? We have the answer!

Can You Have Multiple Saves in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora?

Yes, it is entirely possible to have multiple save files in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, and you can progress through the game independently in each. To access a second save or start a new game, select ‘Select Game’ from the main menu, just beneath ‘Continue, ‘ and select an open save file or a different game save.

You may then begin anew or start from the last point you played.

That said, the game world and the quests do not change, so starting a new game midway through your primary campaign does not offer any benefits. It’s mainly there to allow others to play your game without overwriting your save or if you wish to enjoy the early-game mechanics more.

How to Save the Game in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora

Unlike most single-player-centric games today, you won’t save your game manually in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. Instead, the game generously auto-saves your experience every few minutes, so you genuinely do not need to worry about missing out or losing progress.

As you’re exploring Pandora, the game saves. When you finish a side quest, it saves. And when you finally take over an outpost, you guessed it, the game saves!

Overall, I would prefer to save my game manually. At the very least, having the option would be nice, but the auto-save is still completely functional and forgiving.

With any worries about saving your game out the door, why not check out the Season Pass for Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora? It includes quite a bit of upcoming content to enhance your experience as you leap from trees and soar through the skies.
