Where is the queen?

There are few Pokemon that dominate as hard as Mega Pokemon in Ultra, Master, and high-level PvE content in Pokemon GO. But not all Mega Pokemon have been released into the game. But what about the Embrace Pokemon? Can you get Mega Gardevoir in Pokemon GO?

Can you Get Mega Gardevoir in Pokemon GO – Answered

The long and short of it is, no, Mega Gardevoir isn’t in Pokemon GO yet. But it might be soon. Eagle-eyed players have noticed that the Road to GO Tour: Hoenn is explicit about certain Pokemon getting a Mega version, like Glalie. The next Pokemon on the list was dragon, which was accurately predicted to be Mega Salamence.

But the next two revealed Mega Evolutions are both Psychic-Types. With Mega Slowbro and Mega Alakzam already in the pool, the only remaining Psychic-Types left are Mega Mewtwo X and Y, Mega Latias and Mega Latios, Mega Audino and Mega Diancle, Mega Metagross, and Mega Gardevoir and Mega Gallade.

Gardevoir is a Generation III Hoenn Pokemon, which would fit the Hoenn Roadmap… but so are Metagross, Latios, and Latias. We can likely discount Metagross because there are two Psychic Pokemon being revealed, so it’s likely a pair.

And what sets Gardevoir (and by extension, Gallade) as the next Mega Pokemon to be revealed is the fact that it and Salamence were both featured on the splash image for the latest Pokemon GO event. Additionally, we know that one of the big events scheduled is Valentine’s Day. If Audino or Diancle were in Generation III, this would make them the best candidates. But since they’re not, that leaves Gardevoir.

If the next Mega Pokemon is Gardevoir, we can expect that it will be a powerful Mega Pokemon to have in your team, on par with Mega Charizard Y and Mega Salamence. This will be our first best Fairy option, with easily accessible candies.

So, fingers crossed that Mega Gardevoir comes to Pokemon GO soon!
