Can Sunkern Be Shiny in Pokemon GO – Answered

Sunkern, what an adorably cute little sunflower seed. I may be biased as generation two is my favorite of all time, but those Johto Pokemon designs are all wonderful. Luckily for Johto and Grass-type fans alike, Niantic announced that the recent Pokemon GO Spotlight Hour would feature Sunkern! One of the most exciting aspects of Pokemon GO is shiny hunting and as such players may wonder if Sunkern can be shiny, especially if they were yet to see one. Which as we all know can happen far too often when RNG is at play. Let’s keep reading to see if Sunkern can be shiny in Pokemon GO.

Is Sunkern Shiny in Pokemon GO?

Well, it looks like you are in luck if you are hoping to catch the shiny form of Sunkern in Pokemon GO. I can give you an astounding yes that Sunkern is in fact able to be found in its shiny form in the game. Make sure that you pay attention though as the shiny version is not significantly different from that of the regular version. The shiny version is just a little bit darker than its original counterpart.
