Call of Duty: Warzone Update – 200 Player Game Mode, Rytec AMR, and Team Defender

The new 200 player game mode in Call of Duty: Warzone will work pretty much the exact same as your standard match, except it will have 50 more players than normal. This new mode has been added into Warzone for a limited time, and can be accessed by playing in Quads mode. At the time of writing, it’s unclear how long this game mode will stay in the game.

The Warzone update also saw the addition of a new sniper rifle dubbed the Rytec AMR. This weapon is a .50 Caliber semi-automatic sniper rifle good for taking out enemies from more than 100 meters out. The rifle also has an option for a Tac Laser attachment, which will make close-range fighting a bit more manageable with the new sniper rifle.

Lastly, those who own the full version of Modern Warfare will be able to try out a new game mode called Team Defender. This mode is set in a new map called Cheshire Park, located in London and it will force Operators to “battle from door to door or through the central flora-filled area. Long time Call of Duty fans may remember this game mode from previous titles, but if not, it’s sort of like Capture the Flag, except the flag carriers will need to hold onto it as long as possible to earn the maximum amount of points possible for their team.

If you’re wanting to try out the new Warzone update, you’ll need to get ready for a pretty hefty update size, and it seems it’ll be between 20-30GB depending on your platform and version of the game. While this is certainly a large file size, at least the update includes a fair amount of new content.

Call of Duty: Warzone is currently in the middle of its fourth season, which launched on June 10. The new season is being called “Reloaded” and has seen the addition of a few new features to the popular game. One new feature in specific is called Jailbreak, which will allow eliminated players still in the game to return to the fight, even after they’ve been eliminated in the Gulag. This new feature along with the 200 player game mode should make things pretty interesting.
