There have been a variety of areas that have been the focus of the community for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare recently. Fortunately for the community of the legendary first-person shooter franchise, Infinity Ward released the 1.07 update patch notes for the title on Friday, November 8th. These 1.07 update patch notes addressed an array of significant issues that players were having with the title and also added some new free pieces of content for players to experience and enjoy.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Update 1.07 Patch Notes
Two of the most significant areas players were happy to see that the 1.07 update patch notes addressed were the 725 shotgun and claymores. Both of these weapons received nerfs that should make them much less dominating than they have been in the first few weeks of the game’s life.
Detonating an enemy claymore is now non-lethal if you are at full health. The trigger and damage radius for claymores were also reduced much to the enjoyment of players. The infamous 725 shotgun was dealt with an increase to its spread when aiming down the sights and when firing from the hip. Its damage range was also reduced. The reducing of its damage range garnered plenty of joy from players considering players had been able to kill enemies at incredible distances with the close-range weapon.
A new Ground War Map called Krovnik Farm and a newly added multiplayer map known as Shoot House are also now available for players to enjoy.
