Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Gunfight Tournament Beta Guide

by Nicholas Barth

Gunfight is a new multiplayer game mode that was introduced to the Call of Duty franchise in Modern Warfare this year. The two versus two mode sees players compete against each other on small maps with pre-determined loadouts that switch every two rounds. Now, Infinity Ward, the developers of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, has added a new tournament beta playlist for Gunfight that allows players to show off their skills against others in an even more competitive setting.

The Gunfight Tournament Beta allows players to compete in a 16 team competition. There will be a total of eight rounds when you compete in the single-elimination beta activity. Teams will advance with a win and go back to the lobby with a loss.

There are a variety of rewards, such as cosmetic items, that players can earn when they win their first tournament.

You will have to wait in the lobby until your next opponents finish their match in the bracket. The bracket can be viewed at any time when you are in the lobby.

There is no doubt that there is currently a vast multitude of players who are trying out the Gunfight Tournament Beta and seeing what the new in-game system has to offer competitive players in the community.
