The developers of the new title, Infinity Ward, released a road to launch map that showcased when all of the significant events related to the game will be taking place ahead of its October 25th release date. According to this road to launch map, the campaign reveal for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will be taking place sometime at the end of September. This timetable means the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare campaign reveal should be taking place in the next few days considering there are only six full days left in September.
There is also a high chance it takes place during PlayStation’s State of Play show taking place on Tuesday, September 24th at 1 PM PST/ 3 PM CST/ 4 PM EST.
A great deal of interest is surrounding the story mode for the new game. It will be looking to provide a realistic look at combat in today’s world and will not be shying away from extreme situations. Players can expect to embark on a dark adventure where decisions are not always morally black and white. The campaign will also see the rebooted characters of Captain Price and others from the original Call of Duty: Modern Warfare series as integral parts of the story.
