Boss and Cultist Spawn Rates in Escape from Tarkov’s Halloween Event

Get those xTG-12s ready!

Escape from Tarkov brings another unique Halloween event this 2024 by surprising players with a new cultist boss and an increased spawn chance on the regular cultists. These cultists are one of the scariest enemies to fight in Escape from Tarkov, and it might even be scarier than other horror games. For players who don’t mind getting ambushed by cultists, fighting and getting their loot is a great way to make some Roubles during the event. Here’s a list of all the boss and cultist spawn chances during Tarkov’s Halloween event so you know which maps to play.

All Bosses and Cultist Spawn Chances in Escape from Tarkov

While the whole event is centered around Predvestnik, the new cultist boss, along with increased cultist spawns, the game still has the “natural” spawn rates of the other bosses. This means that maps with specific boss spawns and cultists will be more chaotic since you can always expect the cultists to spawn. Here is a table of all the boss and cultist spawns on each of the maps:

Note: Predvestnik is also called the Harbinger

It is also worth noting that your raid needs to be between 22:00 and 7:00 to have these cultist rates active.

As you can see from the table above, the cultist spawn chances are so high that you can practically expect them in every raid or at least a boss to spawn. Bosses and cultists may spawn in the same raid, making every raid as chaotic as possible.

Cultist and Cultist Boss Spawn Locations

The spawns are easy to remember since there are only one or two spawn locations per map, excluding Factory and Ground Zero.

In Customs, they spawn in the Stronghold, which coincidentally may spawn the Goons and Reshala as well.

Some maps may have different spawns for the Priest and the Harbinger. In Woods, the Priest may spawn in the Lumber Mill or the village, while the Harbinger may spawn in the Northwest Scav Bunker. In Lighthouse, the Priest spawns in the village island while the Harbinger spawns in the Water Treatment North Building, where you finish Reconnaisance.

In Shoreline, the Harbinger spawns in the Weather Station, and the Priest spawns in the resort or the sunken village, where you finish Courtesy Visit.

In Streets of Tarkov, only the Priest can spawn, and they only spawn in Zmejskij Alley Block. For Factory and Ground Zero maps, they can spawn in any Scav spawn area. Basically, expect them almost anywhere.

Expect all these places to be hot zones for not just the bosses but many PMCs during the whole event.
