Borderlands 3 Demoskaggon Guide: Location and Loot

If you’re looking for the Demoskaggon, then you’re going to want to make sure that you’re adventuring out there in The Droughts. There’s an easy way for you to hit the road by using the local fast travel station, and all you have to do once you spawn out is to make sure that you’re going due south. Our recommendation would be to eventually drift southwest until you reach a canyon. Follow the path and then hang to the left in order to come squarely across the Demoskaggon’s spawn point.

In terms of why you’d be wanting to actually take down the Demoskaggon, well, it’s because it drops a Legendary shield. Which one? It’s really up to RNG, and even then it’s just a chance to drop so we would actually recommend taking down other Rare Spawn Week trophies that drop specific Legendary items that the community covets. For example, there’s Princess Tarantella who drops the Hive rocket launcher, and if it’s specifically a shield that you’re after then we would recommend taking down The Unstoppable and farming him for the Band of Sitorak (even if you aren’t a Marvel fan).

That being said, if you’re a fan of the potluck approach to picking up gear in the wilderness then maybe hunting the Borderlands 3 Demoskaggon is going to be for you. This particular type of enemy is very fond of shooting projectiles out of its mouth at you, so make sure that you’re handy at strafing and sliding if you’re wanting to take them down along with the entourage of Skags that will make an appearance.
