An exact release date for the Bloody Harvest event has not yet been announced. However, it has been confirmed the release date will be in October, not to the surprise of anyone considering it is a Halloween event. Borderlands 3 Bloody Harvest Details
When the release date of the Borderlands 3 Bloody Harvest event arrives, players will be able to experience an array of Halloween-themed content. Players who have gain accessed to their Sanctuary ship and have made their way off of Pandora for the first time will begin to face off against haunted enemies across the universe. Making contact with these haunted enemies will cause your character to experience the Terror debuff, which will partially cover your vision with a mist and weakens your gun handling, speed, and accuracy.
Players will earn a new item called Hecktoplasm in their fight against the haunted. This Hecktoplasm can be turned into Maurice who will be taking up a spot on your ship throughout the event. This will soon gain you access to the original Borderlands 3 Bloody Harvest map where even more terrors will be waiting for you. The highlight of this map will be your fight with Captain haunt, who is a haunted version of Captain Traunt.
