The WSP-9 is one of the best submachine guns you can pick up in Modern Warfare 3, and to make the most of the weapon, you need a decent loadout. In this guide, I’ll cover what the best attachments are and what equipment you should use to lift this SMG even further.
Best Loadout for the WSP-9 in MW3 Season 1
- Muzzle: L4R Flash Hider
- Underbarrel: XTEN Phantom-5 Handstop
- Rear Grip: Marauder Grip
- Stock: WSP Factory Stock
- Ammunition: 9mm High Grain Rounds
There is a good mix of recoil control and mobility attachments for this WSP-9 build. What makes the build even more effective, though, is the use of control attachments that still manage to provide some ADS speed. Add the High Grain Rounds and now there is some extra range to utilize as well. The rounds will increase the recoil but that won’t be an issue with a low fire rate and close quarters fights.

Most of the perks here are standard for nearly every class in the game. They keep you off the radar and they allow you to stay even more mobile on the map. Throwables have some more options but I typically run the Frag Grenade and the Stim when I play any respawn modes. Then the COR-45 brings the whole recipe together for when the WSP runs out of ammo.

How to Unlock the WSP-9 in Modern Warfare 3
You need to unlock the WSP-9 through the Armory System after reaching level 25. Three daily challenges are required to earn the submachine gun after you activate it in the Armory Unlock section of the main menu. And of course, you can bypass the unlocks by extracting the weapon from the Zombies mode.
