Best Beginner Tips and Tricks Guide for Creatures of Ava

Always Finish Rescue Missions

When you progress through the story, you’ll eventually come across rescue stations. These rescue stations have that signal or Wi-Fi-looking icon on the map. The game does teach you to rescue some creatures once, but the quest doesn’t really force you to do them. They may seem optional, but you need to finish them to progress from one biome to another. Completing rescue missions is mandatory, but not to the point where you have to do them all. You can finish them all of you want because it does give you some skill points.

Don’t Ignore Side Quests

Side quests are conveniently located in places away from the main quest. However, there is a point in doing them. You’ll get some much-needed rewards, but mostly, some puzzles near the side quests may give you some Backpack Pockets, Health Kits, and Stamina Kits. These are useful upgrades to strengthen Vic, especially if you play on a harder difficulty.

Swap Around Your Spells

Once you finish the Sagestone puzzle in Nari Jungle, you’ll gain access to your third skill or spell. You can only have two spells active at a time, but you can swap out your spells even during battle to perform some spell combos. It isn’t necessary, but it does help or add a little flavor to the game’s combat system.

Don’t Focus on Upgrading Just One Skill

Since you can have two skills active and at least four spells available eventually, you might be planning on upgrading just one or two skills. However, it is best to upgrade multiple spells throughout your playthrough. You’ll encounter scenarios where you need to use Kirst or other spells to cure some infected creatures.

Complete Creature Research Tasks

If you open your Avapedia and go under the “Creatures” tab, you’ll see some research tasks for every creature in the game. You’ll have to take photos of their normal and infected versions, as well as pet every single creature. These research tasks help you unlock more information with regard to the creatures.

Apart from the research tasks from creatures, you can also look at the characters in the game. Each character, such as Nim’ar, needs a photo. Remember to take a photo of each character in the game, and you’ll get a few skill points for doing so.

Capitalize on Using Consumables

The world of Ava is brimming with resources and interactable objects. Most of the rewards give you consumables, and picking up all the resources are all used to craft consumables. In short, you’ll have an abundance of consumables available at your disposal at all times. Make sure to use them frequently to help in certain scenarios.
