Best Sniper for Quickscoping in Call of Duty Black Ops 6

Be a one-tap machine!

Quickscoping in competitive games has been around for decades and has been used in every installment of Call of Duty. While it may have been coined in Counter-Strike in the early ’00s, Call of Duty is the one that popularized the term, having snipers go on the offensive and “quickscoping” every enemy as they rampage through the map. In Call of Duty Black Ops 6, we have a new set of snipers rifles to choose from, and below we’ve listed our thoughts on the best for quick scoping.

Best Quickscoping Sniper in Call of Duty Black Ops 6

To find the best quickscoping sniper, you need two things: a sniper rifle strong enough to one-shot through the torso and a sniper rifle with the fastest “ADS” or aim-down sights speed.

With these two requirements, players can quickly scope using their sniper rifle without seeing the enemy and shoot immediately as long as they know they aimed correctly. The whole purpose of scoping or aiming down sight is mainly to have an accurate shot because using a sniper rifle on hipfire isn’t accurate enough.

Here are the three snipers you will be working with in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6:

  • LW3AI Frostline – unlocked immediately.
  • SVD – unlocked at player level 25.
  • LR 7.62 – unlocked at player level 49.

The best sniper that fits the requirements is, surprisingly, the first sniper, the LW3AI Frostline, which is the starter sniper for everyone. While technically, it isn’t the best sniper, it is the best when it comes to ADS speed, which is the main stat or attribute you look for when you want a quick scoping sniper build. It does take some time to unlock the best attachments, but since the sniper can one-shot torsos and ADS at the lowest “ms” possible, it is the LW3AI Frostline is the best quickscoping sniper – unless it receives a nerf.

To get the best possible LW3AI Frostline sniper, you must unlock and equip the Gunfighter Wildcard. The Gunfighter gives you three more attachment slots, giving you an equippable attachment for every slot available.

Once you have the Gunfighter, you want to equip these attachments:

  • Ported Compensator or Muzzle Brake – both are great and don‘t reduce any power, which is crucial. No ADS upgrades here, so you can choose any of the two.
  • Reinforced Barrel – helps push the power to become a one-tap machine.
  • Ranger Pad or Precision Pad – both are great overall for greater accuracy and mobility.
  • Extended Mag I – No other better extended mag attachments than this one.
  • Quickdraw Riser – highest aim down sight speed boost.
  • Light Stock or Heavy Stock – Light Stock better for more fast-paced gameplay while Heavy Stock is better for all-around situations.
  • Strelok Laser – Hipfire to ADS accuracy.
  • Rapid Fire (Fire Mods) – Rechamber speed and fire rate.

The most important attachments here are Quickdraw Riser, Strelok Laser, Rapid Fire, and Reinforced Barrel. These attachments improve the handling and power of the sniper to a quick scope machine, giving you the best opportunity to fight in CQB or close-quarter combat. Most of the other attachments only help you with mobility and accuracy, which improves the overall feel and pace of the loadout.

As for perks, you want Dexterity and Double Time, which are basically mandatory perks for the loadout. The third perk is open to your preference, but we recommend between Dispatcher or Assassin.

Once you have this loadout complete, you’ll be one-tapping every enemy, and you can start emoting like a madman.
