Best Passive and Combo Amulets in Shinobi Art of Vengeance

Become the ultimate Ninja!

Shinobi: Art of Vengeance has some flexibility when it comes to your version of Joe Musashi. This comes in the form of equippable Amulets and Ninpo skills. Each Amulet offers some bonus, and there are several you will purchase, find, and equip in the game to improve your combat prowess.

Here are my picks for the best passive and combo amulets you can equip in Shinobi Art of Vengeance.

Best Passive Amulets in Shinobi Art of Vengeance

Passive AmuletAmulet EffectReasoning
Ninpo ExpertNinpo Cells fill faster. As you unlock more Ninpo cells, you’ll be using Ninpo skills quite a bit. The default recharge speed is a bit slow, and considering how tough some of the later enemies are, having these recharge faster is a great way to ensure you have an edge in practically any combat situation.
Armor BreakerHeavy Attacks deal more damage to armor. After the first few levels, more and more armored enemies will be thrown into the mix. If you’re having trouble dealing with them in general, this amulet ensures that you break armor at a much faster rate. I think it has a lot of utility, especially when you actively make use of heavy attacks.
MedicHealing becomes more effective.Early on, Medic is arguably the best amulet you can equip. I would argue that it doesn’t lose utility even in the later parts of the game. If you like seeing the HP bar fill up more than usual, it’s hard to go wrong with this.

Best Combo Amulets in Shinobi Art of Vengeance

Combo AmuletAmulet EffectHit Count (Required)Reasoning
Power BoosterIncrease your overall damage dealt.15This is hands-down the best combo amulet in the game and something I used to beat the entire game. As soon as you’ve reached 15 hits (the meter on the side), all of your light and heavy attacks are boosted. You do tons of extra damage and become a force to be reckoned with. Yes, this resets if you get hit, but it’s worth it because getting 15 hits isn’t exactly the most difficult thing in this game.
Flame ForgerEnhanced version of the Fire Ninpo. Breathe a larger, more powerful flame.20This basically upgrades the Fire Ninpo and does a lot of damage to unarmored foes, including bosses. I think it’s really nice to swap in when you’re going against a boss as long as you can get 20 hits in.
Kunai FinderAdd one kunai to your stock with every other hit.20Finally, the Kunai Finder is very useful if you use a lot of kunai in general and have upgraded the max capacity for them. You can keep throwing these and automatically get more. It’s definitely recommended for mid to late game because initially, your carry capacity is pretty low.

You can equip only one amulet of each type, but you’re free to switch between them during combat, boss fights, or any other situation. You’re not locked into a particular amulet, giving you plenty of flexibility to mix up your approach. All these amulets are available in the early and mid-game, which is why I recommend them, as they make up the majority of your options throughout a large portion of Shinobi: Art of Vengeance.
