M4A1 XDefiant

So far, all of the weapons in XDefiant have been classics that Call of Duty players will have plenty of nostalgia attached to, but none of them reach the same level as the M4A1. You’ll likely see plenty of players starting out with the iconic assault rifle, and if you plan on using the weapon you’ll need a good loadout.

XDefiant uses a loadout system similar to the one used in Call of Duty, and that means limited attachments with positives or negatives to create the best build. In our guide, you can find five of the best M4A1 attachments that you’ll want to utilize to take over the competition in XDefiant.

XDefiant – Best M4A1 Loadout and Attachments

Because of the speed in the Ubisoft shooter, we want to find a good mix of control and speed on almost every weapon in the game. Utilizing stealth boosts is also something that I found to be helpful in a game that finally brings red dots back to the mini-map, so you’ll find recon stats below as well.

M4A1 Loadout XDefiant:

  • Barrel: Recon
  • Front Rail: Handstop
  • Optic: Reflex
  • Magazine: Quick Mag
  • Rear Grip: Grip Tape

In this loadout, I have two attachments reserved for recoil control which are the Hand Stop and the Grip Tape. You’ll lose a little movement speed, but I can tell you that the boost to vertical recoil control will ensure that the M4A1 is a laser beam at medium ranges.

The other three attachments include the Reflex, the Quick Mag, and the Recon Barrel. Having a Recon Barrel will help us partially stay off the radar and retain some ADS speed. Then the other two attachments are for support with no negatives. I tried quick mags myself and there are only benefits within XDefiant, including reload speed and ammo capacity. With all these pieces, you’ll be on some easy streaks.
