Battlelands Royale Tips

The nice thing about Battlelands Royale is that the game itself is very simple. The mechanics are simple, the combat is even more simplistic, and everything just meshes well together. Because of this, you’ll find that games in Battlelands Royale are much more quickly paced, which means you can dive through a few of these matches in the same amount of time it would take you to play through one match on Fortnite or PUBG. This is nice, as the game’s mobile nature fits well with the formula, and it makes it simple to dive into for a few minutes in your spare time.

If you do want to survive and make it to the end, though, you’re going to need to make sure you’re ready for the battle.

Shield Up

One of the first things you’ll want to do—even before arming yourself—is get your hands on armor. Armor will help you stay alive much longer, allowing you to take quite a few hits before you need to worry about taking any damage to your health. Armor is found all along the play area like weapons and health kits, so make sure you keep an eye open for this blue shield-shaped power up in order to really up your game and make sure you’re ready for the hits that the enemy are going to throw at you.

Watch Your Damage

As you deal damage to enemies—or take damage yourself—little numbers will tick off how much damage you are taking or dealing with your current weapon. The color of these numbers is extremely important, as it allows you to tell whether the damage that you are dealing is to their health, shields, or marked as critical hits. White numbers mean you’re dealing damage to their base health. Blue numbers mean you’re whittling down the amount of armor that they have in their shields. Finally, red numbers mean you have scored a critical hit, which is definitely something you want to aim for as much as possible in order to win the fight quickly.

Grab Air Drops

Like other battle royale games, if you survive long enough in Battlelands Royale, you’ll notice that a support plane begins to circle overhead. This support plane will deploy air drops into the play area, which you can stand next to in order to unlock armor, health and other items like weapons. Look out for these occasional drops in order to restock and get access to new weapons and items.
