How to Get the Damascus Gate Prison Gear Chest in Assassin’s Creed Mirage
To obtain the Zanj Uprising Sword upgrade schematic inside the Damascus Gate Prison, you’ll need to bring some throwing knives, find the front door of the prison, and be prepared to stealth kill two guards.
The Gear Chest is located just in front of the entrance to the prison and can be found when using Enkidu. Two guards and a barred door will be standing in your way of getting to the chest. You’ll first need to eliminate the guards and then try to unbar the door.
Once you’ve killed the guards on one end of the storeroom where the chest is located, you’ll need to get to the opposite side of the room. When you find the small opening in the gate, use R2 to select your throwing knives. Aim for the bar locking the door from the inside and throw a knife at it.
After successfully breaking the bar, jump back over the room to the other side and unlock the door. All that’s left is to loot the chest and the job is done. You’ve now acquired the Zanj Uprising Sword upgrade schematic.
Where is Damascus Gate Prison Located in Assassin’s Creed Mirage?
Damascus Gate Prison is located north of the Round City’s viewpoint in Assassin’s Creed Mirage. It is also close to other landmarks or historical sites, such as the Great Mosque (east of the Damascus Gate Prison) and the Metal Factory in Shari’ (west of the Damascus Gate Prison), located near the Upper Harbor.
This is only one of the upgrade schematics that are needed to fully upgrade the Zanj Uprising Sword. The final upgrade schematics can be found at the Soap Boiler’s District. In the early stages of the game, this sword possesses the highest damage. The upgrade allows the wielder a 50% increase in damage following a perfect dodge.
