Spooky season is officially invading Apex Legends! Respawn Entertainment announced that the high-profile battle royale title would be having a limited-time event taking place shortly. It will be known as the Fight or Fright event to celebrate the upcoming Halloween season. There will be plenty of new content for players to enjoy with the new Apex Legends Halloween Fight or Fright event. Fortunately, we have everything you need to know about the highly anticipated activity covered for you.
Apex Legends Halloween Fight or Fright Event
This new Apex Legends Fight or Fright event will be taking place between October 15th and November 5th. A wide variety of content will be added to the title that includes a new game mode, exclusive challenges, Halloween themed cosmetic items, and more.
The new game mode will be known as Shadowfall and will see players battle on a night version of King’s Canyon. Thirty-five solo players will descend onto the night version of Kings Canyon and battle normally. However, when a player dies, they respawn as an undead version of themselves. These undead players can not use weapons or their abilities but will gain increased movement and jump speed and a devastating melee attack. These undead players will also be able to scale walls and respawn as many times as possible in the Shadowfall Apex Legends Halloween Fight or Fright event game mode. Players will compete until there are only ten living characters who must then band together to escape on a ship.
A total of 24 new cosmetic items will also be made available for players to earn in the Apex Legends Halloween Fight or Fright event. These cosmetic items include two legendary weapon skins, an array of terrifying character skins, and much more. Lifeline will also be getting her first Heirloom item. This Lifeline Heirloom can be obtained by collecting all 24 of the new cosmetic items brought to Apex Legends with the Halloween Fight or Fright event.
More details about the upcoming limited-timed activity heading to the world of the popular game can be found in the event’s official announcement.
