Now, there is no way to manually make it rain on your island. There is also no set schedule for when it will start raining, which is due to the weather in the game being random. This lack of control means that players will just have to wait and see if the title will bless them with some downpour if they are looking for it.

A player may look for it to rain on their island, as there are specific kinds of fish that only appear when it is raining. These fish include the Coelacanth and possibly sharks and tuna. This unique spawning requirement means that players only have a small window to encounter and catch these kinds of fish and will have to wait until it starts raining again if they want to have another chance of acquiring these kinds of fish.

However, there are some methods you can take and try to increase your chance of running into some rain. One avenue you can take is to go to another player’s island and see if it is raining there through the title’s multiplayer option. Players can also change the clock of their game to go forward a couple of days and hope that it is raining when they arrive at their new time.

There is no doubt that players will not be disappointed if they are proactive when it is raining by taking advantage of the new opportunities the rain will provide them when it comes to catching new kinds of fish in the popular game.
