Vending Machines are the latest addition to Fortnite Battle Royale, introducing a new way for players to obtain rare weapons and equipment during each match. Vending Machines are scattered throughout the map in Battle Royale and require materials to make a transaction. Knowing all vending machine locations in Fortnite can be a huge benefit! To help out, we’ve put together this guide to explain how Vending Machines work in Fortnite and have included a map with all of the Vending Machine locations we know of so far.
Fortnite – How Vending Machines Work
Fortnite’s Vending Machines are pretty straightforward. If you have gathered plenty of building materials and have some to spare, you can spend materials at Vending Machines to obtain new weapons and consumables in Fortnite Battle Royale.
Each Vending Machine will offer three different item deals (one for each type of material) and will randomly determine the rarity for those items. All three items for sale in a single Vending Machine will have the same rarity.
Here’s how the cost breaks down for each level of rarity, according to Epic:
- Common (white) items – 100 materials
- Uncommon (green) items – 200 materials
- Rare (blue) items – 300 materials
- Epic (purple) items – 400 materials
- Legendary (orange) items – 500 materials
Hit the Vending Machine with your pickaxe to cycle through the three sale items faster. Otherwise, the three sale items will cycle on their own over a short period of time. There’s no limit to how many items you can buy from a Vending Machine, so long as you’ve got the materials to spend.
Fortnite – All Vending Machine Locations
Below, you’ll find a map of all the Vending Machine locations in Fortnite Battle Royale. Unlike some of the weekly challenges in Fortnite, Vending Machines do not necessarily spawn at a location every time, but they do tend to spawn in predictable locations, similar to chests.
So, when visiting one of the Vending Machine locations on the map below, keep in mind that you may not find a Vending Machine there every time, but the chances are better than if you are just wandering about aimlessly looking for Vending Machines on your own.
Keep an eye out for Vending Machines in cities like Tilted Towers, Pleasant Park, and Retail Row. Some Vending Machines can also spawn along paths leading away from towns or major points of interest as well.
This map is not exhaustive of every Vending Machine location in Fortnite, but just the general locations we know of so far. Vending Machines can be found in or around every major city or point of interest and appear to be spaced pretty evenly apart from one another, so they should be relatively easy to find in each match.
Vending Machines were added to Fortnite as part of the latest v3.4 content update for Fortnite, which also introduced a new Easter Egg Launcher for Save the World, as well as the new limited-time game mode, High Explosives v2. If you’ve been wanting to try out the new Guided Missile in Fortnite, then this explosive LTM is the perfect place to find one.
