All Upgrade Bench locations in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 3

Players in Fortnite who don’t want to spend the entire map looking for high-level loot can take matters into their own hands with an Upgrade Bench. Upgrade Benches allow you to level up a weapon that you have in your inventory, as long as you have enough Gold Bars to do it.

Interacting with the Upgrade Bench will give you the option to upgrade your weapons, and you will need to upgrade through the levels. You cannot bypass any of them. The Gold Bar cost for each level jump is shown below. Keep in mind, that you cannot upgrade Legendary or Mythic weapons.

  • Common to Uncommon: 200 Gold
  • Uncommon to Rare: 300 Gold
  • Rare to Epic: 400 Gold
  • Epic to Legendary: 500 Gold

How to get Gold Bars

Getting Gold Bars is easy. You eliminate other players, who will drop them when they are defeated. You can also get them by opening chests throughout the game. One of the best places to get them is from randomly spawning safes that will appear in buildings all over the map.

Finally, you can complete bounties at any bounty board or NPC to get them. The bounties can take a little longer or might send you in a direction that you don’t want to go, however.
