The following tables list all of the Catch Mastery Timed Research tasks and rewards during the Pokemon GO Catch Mastery: Ice event. Be prepared for “Cryogonal” to not look like a real (by Pokemon standards) word anymore, because an encounter with Cryogonal is the reward for every task, for a total of 40 Cryogonal encounters. On the bright, shinier side, Cryogonal encountered this way have an increased chance of being shiny.
The Rewards for completing the entire set of tasks are also listed, and they include items and XP in addition to Cryogonal.

If you’re planning on buying the Paid Timed Research, it’s recommended you do so before starting the above tasks, so you can complete the free and paid tasks at the same time.
Catch Mastery Timed Research Date and Time
The Catch Mastery Timed Research lasts from 10:00 AM local time until 8:00 PM local time on December 9. Be sure to collect all your rewards before 8:00 PM, because the tasks will disappear then, even if you’ve completed them but left the reward unclaimed.
