One of the most curious Social Links in Persona 3 Reload is the Hermit, also known as the Online Game Social Link. After all, no one ever said that playing online games couldn’t help you discover the answer to life’s biggest question.

Persona 3 Reload Hermit Social Link Guide (P3R)
The Hermit Social Link can be started on April 29th at its earliest. After arriving back at the dorm on the 28th, Junpei hands you a copy of Innocent Sin Online, a game inside the game he used to play. You can spend the following day (or any subsequent Sunday/Holiday) playing the game at the desk in your room, where you’ll meet the player Maya and forge the Online Game Social Link with her.
You can play the MMO on your free days, mainly Sundays and holidays. Always bring a Hermit Persona, Iike Onmoraki, to help increase your Rank faster with each dialogue option. If you see the “I feel like I might grow closer to Maya soon…” message, the next session is always a Rank-up event.
While there are plenty of other Sunday/Holiday-tied Social Links, I would recommend focusing on Maya early to have your Sundays free for yourself ASAP. The second half of the game introduces the Sun Social Link, which is only available on Sundays. While you can also work on Hermit during holidays, having the day free to be exclusively dedicated to Sun is easier in the long run.
Finally, you cannot date Maya despite her eventually developing feelings for you. E-dating wasn’t a thing in 2009, apparently.

Completing the Online Game Social Link allows you to fuse for Arahabaki, the ultimate Hermit Persona. The infamous physical-reflecting guy is back, but it’ll take a couple of levels before you can actually summon him.
Despite the absence of voiced dialogue, Maya’s Social Link makes up for it with some of the most out-of-pocket dialogue lines in the game, and I love it. Too bad things start getting weird once you realize her true identity around Rank 3 or so. It feels like Magician all over again. Way funnier, at least.
