How to Get Heirloom Shards and Weapons in Apex Legends

There are only two guaranteed ways to get Heirloom Shards or Heirloom Weapons in Apex Legends. You can get Heirloom Shards by opening up Apex Packs. Or you can get a specific Heirloom Weapon by purchasing all 24 items in its related event collection set.

Getting Heirloom Shards through Apex Packs

Every time you open up an Apex Pack, there’s a 1 in 500 chance you’ll find Heirloom Shards inside. And what that nightmarish, you do get guaranteed Heirloom Shards after opening 500 Apex Packs. Unfortunately, getting 500 Apex Packs is quite a slog. I’m over level 500 and still haven’t seen a shard.

But once you do have your Heirloom Shards, all you need to do to turn them in head to the ‘Store’ on the main menu. From the Store, select the ‘Mythics’ submenu. You’ll then get a list of all currently available Heirlooms, which you can then use your Heirloom Shards to purchase.
