All Final Fantasy and Apex Legends Collab Cosmetics, Listed

In December 2023, we got a brief look at the Final Fantasy 7 collaboration with Apex Legends, and now we finally have a hard look at a handful of those cosmetics. And they sure are electrocute, kupo!

Legends can expect to find 36 total event items, including a new Death Box and the Mythic Buster Sword R5 Melee cosmetic—equippable by any Legend, in any mode. Unlike a Collection Event, there’s a chance to get the Buster Sword R5 in every Event pack you open.

This event will debut on January 9 and will last until January 30. All items will be randomly awarded via event packs with no duplicates of event items. The Mythic Buster will not appear in the Mythic Shop after the event ends.

How to Unlock the One-Winged Angel Death Box in Apex Legends

Death Boxes have been pretty standard up to this point. But now you can die in style with a Sephiroth-inspired One-Winged Angel Death Box. To obtain it, you’ll need to complete the entire Apex Legends and Final Fantasy VII Rebirth collection before the event ends.

Once you’ve unlocked the One-Winged Angel Death Box in Apex Legends, you can equip it by going into the menu, selecting Legend, and then accessing the brand new ‘Lobby Melee’ tab. Does this mean that new Death Boxes cosmetics are on the horizon? Probably!
