All Ascension and Trace Materials for Fu Xuan in Honkai: Star Rail

She predicted you would farm for her

Honkai: Star Rail has concluded another storyline in its 1.3 updates, and more of its characters are becoming playable, too, like Fu Xuan. The Master Diviner of the Xianzhou Luofu is featured in the version as one of the main banner characters, but you’ll have to offer her certain Ascension Materials before she can truly protect her teammate flawlessly.

All Required Ascension Materials for Fu Xuan in Honkai: Star Rail

Fu Xuan is a 5-star Preservation Quantum character, with a kit very reminiscing of another tank character from a different Hoyoverse game. But the difference here is that said kit works wonders in a turn-based game, which makes Fu Xuan a perfect sustain character once she’s adequately leveled. And if you want to do that, you’ll need the following:

Ascension Materials

  • x65 Nail of the Ape
  • x5 Artifex’s Module
  • x15 Artifex’s Cogwheel
  • x15 Artifex’s Gyreheart
  • x828,000 Credits
  • x260 Traveler’s Guide

For the Nail of the Ape, you’ll have to face the Stagnant Shadow: Shape of Abomination in the Scalegorge Waterscape area, unlocked through the most recent Trailblaze Missions. You’ll need at least 13 runs in this boss to get the materials if you’re at Rank 60, but it takes a little longer if you’re any lower.

Artifax items, on the other hand, are readily obtainable from Ingenium automaton enemies found in the Xianzhou Luofu areas. You can beat a few of those for their materials or send your characters in Expeditions to get them, which adds up quite quickly while waiting.

Traces Materials

  • x18 Endurance of Bronze
  • x69 Oath of Steel
  • x139 Safeguard of Amber
  • x41 Artifex’s Module
  • x56 Artifex’s Cogwheel
  • x58 Artifex’s Gyreheart
  • x12 Regret of Infinite Ochema
  • x8 Tracks of Destiny
  • x3,000,000 Credits

But things get complicated with the sheer amount of Endurance of Bronze and its evolutions you’ll need, as these are only obtainable from their Crimsom Calyx. You’ll have to farm those for a few weeks to give Fu Xuan some decent leveled Traces. Synthesize them into higher grades as much as you need to make it quicker.

You’ll need some Regret of Infinite Ochema items from the Phantylia Echoes of War weekly boss to unlock certain Traces and level them past specific points. Bring your Wind, Lightning, and Imaginary characters to this fight, as well as have at least one competent debuff cleanser, as you’ll certainly need it.

With a bigger-than-ever Trailblaze Power cap, it should be easier to get the necessary materials. Remember to regularly farm for some Experience books and extra Credits if needed since you’ll probably spend a lot of these quickly. Especially if you are already considering leveling the other big character introduced in this patch, Dan Heng – Imbibitor Lunae.
