All Aether Tear Locations in MW3 Zombies

Orbs and portals

Anyone who wants to unlock a permanent entry into the Dark Aether will need to find at least three Aether Tears for special Bounty Contracts. But looking for the tears can quickly get frustrating, so I have all the possible locations for you to look at in this guide.

Where to Find Aether Tears in MW3 Zombies

There are nearly 20 different Aether Tear locations that can appear on the Urzikstan map in MW3 Zombies. However, you won’t find every single one in a single deployment. Just like the orbs that float around the map, the spawns will change with each match, which makes finding them more difficult. But the good news is that the possible locations are always the same. The map below has every Aether Tear spawn in Urzikstan.

When you search for any of the tears, keep in mind that the symbol won’t appear until you get close enough. The distance is generous, but you still can’t just check the map. If you get close though, there will be a small circle with an upward arrow that indicates the tear throwing you in the sky so you can redeploy.

In my own experience, the best way to find an Aether Tear spawn is to grab a vehicle and search one section on the map from above. Even if many of the locations won’t have a spawn in a single deployment, there is usually one in a cluster that will appear. If you get lucky you can likely find at least three in a single game.

What makes reaching the tears more frustrating is their lack of permanence. Once someone jumps through, the tear is no longer available in the MW3 Zombies match. So when you jump in, make sure you’re ready to reach the next step in the Dark Aether quest, or just use it to float high above the danger.

Like so many things in Urzikstan, the Warlord also has one spawn, so make sure to chase him if you haven’t already.
