Zen Pinball 2 Finally Coming To PS Vita and PS3 September 4

Our friends at Zen Studios have been busy “flipping” out…and how.

The company has announced that its long-awaited upgrade to Zen Pinball, aptly named Zen Pinball 2, will finally be debuting on PlayStation 3 on September 4, just in time for the end of summer.  What’s more, the game will also be making its debut on PS Vita as well, bringing more portable pinball fun to the system.  

All previously purchased tables, including Marvel Pinball offerings, will be compatible with the game, and it will be free to upgrade to.  Other tables can be purchased separately, with dozens to choose from.

But there will be one awesome addition to the game, a new table based on a very popular PopCap Games franchise.  The team is set to unveil this surprise game later this month at the PAX Prime event in Seattle, Washington.  We’ve got even money on Plants vs. Zombies…but it could really be anything.
