Recently, they added a number of adorable Animal Crossing accessories that you can acquire. Best of all? They’re all physical items you can have shipped to your house!

You Can Redeem Your Nintendo Points for Cute Animal Crossing Rewards

A new category has been added to the My Nintendo rewards list called Nintendo Store. Here, you can exchange Platinum Points for real, physical items like a Dodo Airlines Shopping bag and a Tom Nook keychain (the photo shows him displayed on a pumpkin and it’s the cutest thing ever).

The prices for these rewards range from 600 Platinum Points for a Leaf Bandana all the way up to 1,000 Platinum Points for that Tom Nook keychain. Below, we’ve listed all of the items available right now and how much they cost in Platinum Points.

  • Animal Crossing: New Horizons – Dodo Airlines Shopping Bag: 800 Platinum Points
  • Animal Crossing: New Horizons – Leaf Bandana: 600 Platinum Points
  • Animal Crossing: New Horizons – Tom Nook Shopping Bag: 800 Platinum Points
  • Animal Crossing: New Horizons – Tom Nook Keychain: 1,000 Platinum Points

According to the fine print, the items on offer will expire on October 30. You can only redeem each item once, so you can’t just spam purchase yourself a dozen Tom Nook keychains. It’s tempting, we know.

Nintendo also notes that shipping fees apply, meaning that while the item itself is free in exchange for Platinum Points, you’ll have to pay to have it shipped to you.

We’re curious what items will be added to the Nintendo Store after October 30. Will we see Mario gear? Zelda? Anything is possible.

Hopefully Nintendo continues to expand the options available in the Nintendo Store because it’s honestly a fantastic way to encourage gamers to rack up Platinum Points.

We find ourselves tempted to redeem all of the rewards before they expire, but we’re not sure if we can reach the Platinum Points needed to do that by October 30.

If we were to get one of each Animal Crossing item we’d need to fork over a whopping 3,200 Platinum Points. It’s a lot of work.

Despite this, the fact that Nintendo is letting gamers get physical items in exchange for Platinum Points is awesome in and of itself. Even if you can only get one thing, it seems well worth it.

After looking at all of the Animal Crossing rewards you can collect, which one are you most interested in?
