This world premiere looks to have revealed the console that Microsoft has been dubbing Project Scarlett for some time. However, fans now know that the next Microsoft console will indeed be Xbox Series X and will be releasing during the Holiday season in 2020.

According to Head of Xbox Phil Spencer, the Xbox Series X is the “fastest and most powerful Xbox” and will set a “new bar for performance, speed, and compatibility.” Spencer also stated that the 15 Xbox Game Studios are already working on titles for the new console and how this new platform will have the “largest and most creatively diverse lineup of exclusive games” in the history of the fan-favorite console.
