With the Xbox One just over a month away from launching, some gamers are concerned about its stability, especially when it comes to multiplayer matches in such games as Battlefield 4 and Call of Duty: Ghosts. They really shouldn’t be, though.
Microsoft director of product planning Albert Penello recently took to Twitter to answer a question posed by a fan regarding the use of dedicated servers. The fan asked, “Can you confirm if the free Xbox compute resources includes dedicated servers for all Xbox One games?’ Penello simply replied, “Yes.”
No word yet on just how many servers are being used, but you can bet that Microsoft is more than ready for whatever demand lies ahead. We’re eager to see how our Forza Motorsport 5 sessions go ourselves…
The Xbox One releases in the U.S. and other select markets on November 22nd.
