Xbox Live Sale Kicks Off With Halo Markdowns and Other Unbeatable Deals

If you haven't bought El Shaddai yet, this is the best time ever to do so.

As Larry “Major Nelson” Hyrb promised last week, the Xbox Live Ultimate Game Sale kicked off this week with flying colors, offering discounts on various classics.  But you’ll need to hurry, as the deals are changing up daily, with the sale as a whole concluding on March 5th.

All the major Halo games for Xbox 360 are on sale, with Halo 3, Halo: Reach and Halo Wars going for a bargain basement $9.99 apiece.  Meanwhile, the Games On Demand version of the best-selling Halo 4 can be acquired for $20 off the regular price, going for a mere $39.99.

But that isn’t all.  Several games have also been marked down to the $5 price range – and even cheaper than that.  Classics like DiRT 2, GRiD, H.A.W.X., Kane and Lynch: Dead Men, Tomb Raider: Legend, Virtua Fighter 5 and the original BioShock are $4.99 a pop.  And a couple of the games, Rayman Raving Rabbids and El Shaddai, are even cheaper, going for a mere $2.99.  If you don’t pick up El Shaddai now, you’re crazy.  It’s gorgeous to look at and filled with outrageously cool combat.

Head over to the Xbox Live Marketplace and shop away!
